Happiness isn’t just an emotion, it’s a state of being. Many of us feel under great pressure to be happy and often that has an adverse effect, making us feel worse instead of better and blocking our abundance.
There’s plenty of advice out there on how to feel happier, but what I found on my own quest to overcome repeated periods of depression was that most of these techniques only work on a temporary basis.
That wasn’t enough for me. I believe we create our own reality and I knew I was damaging my own opportunities by being in a negative state. Even when I’d improved my situation significantly, (to the point where I only felt dissatisfied every now and again), I wanted to feel even better.
I was on a mission to feel the best I could on a daily basis, and I wasn’t going to let the second half of my life be as up and down as the first half had been.
